About the Author:

Amanda Cross is the pseudonymous author of the bestselling Kate Fansler mysteries, of which The Edge of Doom is the fourteenth. As Carolyn G. Heilbrun, she is the Avalon Foundation Professor in the Humanities Emerita at Columbia University.
