Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. About the book: Hardcover with price-clipped jacket. First Edition, Second Printing. Book has been signed by author and appears to have been inscribed (see photos) by the author at a different time. Also comes with five pieces of ephermera. Two are photocopies regarding author's book. One is a signed "annual" letter from author., published in 1974. Second is a typed letter regarding the text from Mr. Shepherd's honorary degree given to him, May 16, 1974. There is also a photocopy version included with this letter. Third letter is from Buckingham Palace (Martin Charteris) thanking Mr. Shepherd for sending the Queen a letter and an inscribed copy of his book. Hard to tell if this is the original letter or a photocopy. There was a mistake in the fourth paragraph that has been corrected with blue ink. Book is in very good condition. Jacket is in good to fair condition. Quite a few tears to back upper cover. Additional photos available upon request. Signed by Author(s).
