Ephemera. Condition: Near fine. First Edition. A limited edition suite of twelve posters connected to Alan Moore's groundbreaking graphic novel. Six of the posters are reproductions of two-color posters printed by Marvel to promote the original comic-book series later collected into graphic novel format. The other six posters are full-color images of the main characters in Watchmen, the Comedian, Doctor Manhattan, Rorschach, Nite Owl, Silk Spectre, and Ozymandias. The posters measure roughly 12 by 16 inches and are printed on white cardstock. An illustrated limitation sheet, signed by Moore, Gibbons, and Higgins, is laid in. These 13 sheets are enclosed in a folded paper portfolio. Despite a rather large limitation (2000 copies), this portfolio is scarce, as are any Watchmen items signed by Moore. Posters and limitation sheet are fine; the portfolio has light wear to the corners and some creasing. This is copy 645, signed by the writer and artists.
