First edition. Introduction by David Anthony Turner. Octavo. 55 pages.Presentation copy, inscribed by Ted Hughes on the front free endpaper to the editor of Grand Street, Ben Sonnenberg: "To Ben - affectionately - from Ted - Xmas 69".Very good indeed in very good marked and rubbed dustwrapper with a closed tear at head of spine.
First edition, softcover issue, inscribed presentation copy from the author; 8vo; publisher's photographic wrappers, a very good copy. A very good first edition example of this collection of poems by Ted Hughes, presented at the time of publication to his friends John & Annie [Moat], with a complex Oedipal verse in the poet's hand: '"Drain your cup to the dregs" was Oedipus' motto. And forced his Mammy & Daddy to drink till they fell flat out blotto - He left them behind Hen went on boozing till he was absolutely blind".

Softcover. Condition: Near Fine. First edition, revised draft, later working script (unpublished). Quarto. [2], 12, 12, 9, 12, 8pp. Bradbound light blue unprinted wrappers, featuring a die-cut window on the front wrap, with mimeographed interior pages printed on rectos only, and a control number ("32") on the first page. Near fine with a couple of stains at the bottom of the front wrap and light edgewear. Inscribed on the title page with an original 12-line poem by Ted Hughes to publisher Richard Gilbertson. A copy of the second revised script written by Turner for the National Theatre Company production in London during the winter of 1967-1968, and greatly revised by Hughes (prompting him here to strike through Turner's contractually required credit line). The text differs in many respects from the first rehearsal script. *OCLC* locates three copies. A rare playscript accompanied by a wonderfully whimsical poem to Gilbertson, his publisher and friend. *Sagar and Tabor* A16b.
