There are tape marks running down the centre of the front and rear pastedowns where the plastic cover over the jacket has been taped down. The tape is no longer present but sadly the marks remain. Lighter traces running down the centre of the front and rear free endpapers also. Small tape residue marks on boards at top and bottom edges of front and rear panels as well. The endpapers are browned but the book is otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has been slightly trimmed at the edges of the front and rear flaps and there are also tape marks at the outer edges. Otherwise very good in a loose plastic cover. Jacket and interior illustrations by George Adamson. First printing.
