First Edition. A very good copy; inscribed by some of the stars of the 1949 film of the same title, based on this novel, apparently to someone involved in the production. Most prominent of these actors is Cyril Cusack, adding his grateful inscription. All books described as first editions are first printings unless otherwise noted.
