Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. A clean and crisp hardback first edition in a clean dust jacket, which has not been price-clipped. No previous ownership names. There is a bit of foxing to the fore edge, and some more noticeable foxing to the front free endpaper and paste-down (pictured). The rear free endpaper and paste-down is also foxed, but less severely. A small printed bookseller's label remains at the bottom of the rear paste-down. The boards are clean and sharp, the binding is secure and the main contents (in verse) are clean and fresh. The clean dust jacket, which is protected by a non-adhesive transparent sleeve, has some light shelf wear: it is a little rubbed at the extremities, with a couple of short tears at the top of the lower cover. The jacket also has a bit of foxing to its front and rear inside flaps, and to the lower cover. Overall, a nice hardback first edition in a clean jacket, but with some foxing at the beginning and end of the book.
