Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. [104pp]: [vi], 98; gilt wine boards, jacket (unpriced & unclipped); 220 x 140 x 15 mm. Stated second printing of the author's iconic & incendiary third book (issued June 1965), which sounded the knell of Canadian 'autonomy' (surrendered largely at the hands of yankee collaborators). A tight clean lovely copy in lightly worn jacket with white sections a trifle mottled. Nice hardcover copies from the year of publication are now scarce. It bears noting that hardcover copies of the 40th anniversary edition (2005) were issued at $95 new.
