Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. This company did not state what edition this is, but that actually indicates it IS a first edition, first printing, since subsequent printings WERE identified. This copy is an ex-library book, with almost all interior evidence confined to the end papers (the back end paper is missing). If one were to replace the end papers, the only remaining hint of library is confined to penned indications on gutter of dedication page: B. T. 7/20/72 $4.95. The boards are worn, and there are tape ghosts, front and back. Interior is lightly age-toned, and a few pages have small spots of soil. The page edges are a bit soiled. Book boards show moderate shelf war, including missing paper from three tape removals. Bottom edges are moderately worn. Spine has slight lean. Good reading copy. In contrast, a mere wisp of shelf-wear keeps this dust jacket from being listed As New. The movie, starring Charles Bronson, broke the mold for dramatic suspense.

First edition. First edition, first printing. [viii], 184pp. Bound in publisher's crimson cloth with gilt spine lettering. Very slight lean to spine and rubbing along bottom edge, else Fine, hint of toning to contents, in Near Fine dust jacket with a hint of rubbing, unclipped ($4.95). Nice shape overall. The basis of the 1974 film starring a steely-eyed Charles Bronson, directed by Michael Winner, that epitomized a crime and doom-laden era of political backlash and launched a popular series. The author was prolific, winning an Edgar for one of his mysteries and being a Pulitzer finalist for a historical work, often writing under a pseudonym.

First Edition
First Edition. Original 125 page shooting script for the film Death Wish directed by Michael Winner, starring Charles Bronson, Hope Lange, Vincent Gardenia, and Olympia Dukakis. Bradbound. Touch of use, else fine. The film tells the story of Paul Kersey (Bronson), a New York architect, whose world is suddenly torn apart by the murder of his wife and the rape of his daughter, thus launching him on a one-man vigilante mission. A landmark in crime films which pushed the envelope in terms of dealing with the realistic problem of revenge for criminal acts and the boundaries of dealing with it.
