Bound in a deep blue leatherettewhite lettering of the spine, flag illustration front cover near center of fore-edge. Upper edge of textblock is tinted a matching blue. There is no corner bumping, some faint edge wear at tail of spine. Unclipped DJ is formed from clear stiff plastic with white title printed on front, author photograph on back {also in white}. This plastic has slightly darkened with age, small chip at tail of spine section. Upper edge has faint chip at front flap, two larger chips at head of spine and small tear near author photo. Interior text has slightly yellowed with age, clean and tight in binding. Hinges and gutters are solid with no shadowing or foxing. No ownership or other markings. No 'dirt' or thumbing. A very good copy of one of his earliest works. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
