One is, in ths book, reading history with a "sidebar" of designs created to embody social and societal changes as they occurred, to meet new challenges in scale and function. Very good condition in slightly edge worn "fair" dust jacket. New edition, updating the earlier 1919 original publication.

Seller: Dunaway Books, St. Louis, MO, U.S.A.
Hardcover. Condition: Like New. The 'New Edition' of 1935. A Fine copy in a Very Good dustjacket, with the publisher's box. No flaws to the binding or text block, the gilt being very bright and fresh. The jacket has a very small chip at one corner, light rubbing at the top of the spine and two creases to the front flap. The bottom of the box is discolored but has no separations. The top of the box is modestly soiled but the paste-down illustration is not chipped, there is some serious rubbing with paper loss on the left side, and both corners of the left side are separated. A lovely copy in the scarce original box.
