The dust jacket has edge wear and a darkened spine and rear panel. Protected in an archival sleeve now. 319 pages with Index. Introductory material includes a short biography of the author, the editor's Foreword to the second edition, Foreword to the first edition (1920), and an Introduction (The Church's Year). Leadbeater (1847-1934) was Presiding Bishop of the Liberal Catholic Church, 1923-1934. The first edition of 1920 was structured into three parts, II and III of which have been omitted in the revised second edition as they did not deal strictly with the Christian festivals. Part I has been retained completely and deals specifically with the festivals of the Church.
