Pratt. 68 pages. Poetry. E. J. Pratt (Edwin John Dove Pratt) was born February 4, 1882 and died April 26,1964. Born in Newfoundland, Pratt spent most of his life in Toronto, Ontario. He was a Canadian poet who was a three-time winner of the country's Governor General's Award for poetry and was often called "the foremost Canadian poet for the first half of the 20th century. Pratt's first successful work was Newfoundland Verse published in 1923. He subsequently wrote 18 more books of poetry. This is a very nice copy.
