Leather with small gilt decs and rules to spine, gilt rules to edges of boards and gilt inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, yellow painted closed edges, top edge dusty, 1863 owner name to front endpaper. Boards rubbed, corners bumped. Front board and ffep nearly wholly detached unfortunately, some spotting to closed edges, light splash stain to page 37 of first book. Otherwise text block clean and tight, pages clean, text bright. Size: 8vo.

Complete set of the Credibility volumes. Nathaniel Lardner is considered to be the founder of modern critical research in the field of early Christian literature (wikipedia).
