Book
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First published in the Everyman's Library as number 867 in 1931, this is a reprint from 1950. There's a 17-page Introduction by the editor, Hugh I'Anson Fausset which is, according to the publisher, "a biographical and critical study of rare sympathy." Loosely inserted is a promotional slip of paper, dated June 1950, giving details of the "New 1949-1950 Everyman's Encyclopaedia" The green cloth boards are slightly speckled with yellow dots - probably a reaction from the glue. Salmon pink patterned endpapers. Edges a little browned, but a very good copy in very good dust jacket with general chips and nicks to edges, a short tear to base of front gutter, and a browned spine panel. MC.
