A lifelong resident of St. Louis, and eventually the city's poet laureate, Castro enjoyed a long relationship with Troupe, who grew up in East St. Louis. Castro founded the journal River Styx, under which auspices he and Troupe collaborated frequently. Base of spine bumped, slight toning to edges, very good.
