Book First Edition
Soft cover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Kenneth R Timmerman is a politician, political writer, and activist who has published books on Iraq, Iran, Benghazi and such like. This seems to be the only novel he has published, and it's not easy to find, coming - as it does - from a tiny British press. This is a soft cover in white card wrappers with a dust jacket. Two things about this dust jacket seem to grant the book more importance than perhaps it deserves: the cover features a painting by the artist Edward Piper (I'm not sure if it is a specially commissioned piece or simply reproduced from elsewhere), and the flap carries an endorsement from Lawrence Durrell saying: "Your prose has the right sort of tension to make its way", which is a bit enigmatic but, hey, it's Lawrence Durrell! This is a fine copy in a very good dust jacket which is just a little grubby on the white rear panel.
