Book
Decorative Boards. Condition: Near Fine. First BCA Edition. I have a particular fondness for wok cooking, having lived and cooked in the Far East for ten years. I studied and cooked Chinese food with a passion for weeks, months, but then my husband developed the expatriate 'blues'. Could I accomplish something English in my wok? The resultant steamed Steak and Kidney Pudding he had to admit quite equalled his mum's. Heartened that I wasn't going to be completely limited to Chinese cooking, I began a spate of international dishes. Cooking in the wok had become an intellectual challenge as well as a physical one. From then on curries, casseroles, puddings, desserts and vegetable dishes of all description and origin began to emerge. Thank goodness for notebooks and a good filing system, for years later when I was asked to put together this book, I knew immediately what would go into it. Illustrated. Illustrated laminated boards.
