Book First Edition
Softcover. Condition: Very Good. First edition, almost certainly preceding the Beacon Press edition. Trade paperback. Wrappers toned with some wear and soil, very good and sound. The text is fine. Significantly more uncommon than the Beacon Press edition published the same year. From the lower wrap: "The Sanctuary, formed by individuals concerned about the needs of young people, runs a hostel and storefront counseling and referral service, open to anyone. Focusing primarily on problems related to drug use, the Sanctuary also offers educational workshops for adolescents and adults, in addition to sponsoring and publishing reports on various aspects of the culture of the young." Pope would go on to become an important psychiatrist.
