Book First Edition
Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Winold Reiss (illustrator). 1st Edition. Indians of the Northwest is an over-sized soft cover book that consists of pictures of several paintings done by Winold Reiss. The book was published by Walter T. Foster in, perhaps, the mid 1960s. I thought that it was a much older publication but there's a zip code in the address that Walter Foster gives where you can order some Reiss prints if you like what you see. Since zip codes didn't hit the streets until 1963, the earliest this could have been published is the mid-1960's. It is a collection of many beautifully done paintings (mostly portraits) by Reiss with small blurbs describing some of them. It looks to be very well-done catalog sent out by Walter T. Foster. It's not an ex-library copy, is in very good condition, has no dust jacket. The soft cover book is 10 1/4" by 13 1/2" and has 34 semi-glossy pages. Thank you!.
