Wraps. Condition: Good. no date, circa 1950. Printed wraps. 46 pp. A few illustrations throughout. A work aimed at a male audience, addressing impotence and other related sexual problems. The chapters look at various methods for treatment, such as tonics, and even the penis pump (illustrated), debunking the effectiveness of such solutions, instead advocating for moderation of sexual activity, even into later years. Gender stereotypes are present, but once sentence does say, "women have some rights in marriage." GOOD condition. Faint dampstaining along the spine. General toning and minor soiling. Side staples rusted.

First Edition
First edition. Broadside. 19 x 12 inches (48 x 30 cm). Three illustrations show an artillery man before a canon, a sailor, and a mounted cavalryman. A recruitment broadside for Winfield Scott Hancock's First Army Corps of Veterans by Philadelphia Chief of Detective Police, Benjamin Franklin. On the 28th of November, 1864, an order was issued by the War Department for raising and organizing twenty thousand infantry under command of Major General Winfield S. Hancock, to be enlisted for not less than one year. The privates were to consist only of able-bodied veterans who had served honorably, not less than two years, and therefore not subject to the draft; the officers to be commissioned by the President from those who had honorably served not less than two years. Shows the multiple bounties paid for varying terms of enlistment. Quite uncommon. OCLC locates only two copies: Lib. Co. Phila. & Lib. Congress. A very good copy, small cellotape repair at fold, minor wear at extremities, small crease.
