No Binding. Condition: New. No Jacket. Cyril Walter Hodges (illustrator). A New copy of a five 25p stamp "First Day Cover" for a commemoration of the opening of the modern day replica of the Globe Theatre in London. The stamps put together show where the theatres were located but are not by date. Scott #1620 for The Swam; 1621 for The Rose; 1622 for The Globe; 1623 for The Hope and 1624 for The Globe. Envelope is still wrapped in a Post Office envelope. Stamps have a pictoral first day postmark from Stratford-Upon-Avon. The stamps are multicolored. The envelope also has an illustration of a hand holding a quill pen.
