Handbill. 8.5x11 inch handbill with dittoed text and cartoon on one side, very good. Rubberstamped approval for posting at City College in San Francisco. Gives date as Wednesday, Nov. 8, a combination that fell in 1972 and 1978. The meeting was to show the 1971 film "Only the Beginning," about the GI movement.

Handbill. 8.5x11 inch handbill printed one side, very good. Calls for a demonstration in San Francisco as part of a national campaign to draw attention to the effects of Agent Orange, used as a defoliant during the Vietnam War. Pressure from VVAW and others led Congress to mandate a study of Agent Orange in 1979.
Newspaper. 16p., tabloid newspaper, horizontal fold, evenly toned, otherwise very good. Cover story on a vet dying of complications from Agent Orange exposure; top headline is on Vietnam's invasion of Cambodia. VVAW supported the Khmer Rouge in this conflict, accusing Vietnam of becoming an aggressor and tool of Soviet social imperialism; small photo of Cambodian troops is captioned "Cambodian freedom fighters must now fight again.".
