Light olive cloth lettered in gilt and decorated with dark green, top edges gilt, other edges untrimmed, tissue protected frontis plate in each volume (volume I in black and white plus sepia tones, volumes II and III in vermilion orange), other plates in black and white or vermilion, smaller illustrations in black and white, books about 7.25 inches tall. Very light shelfwear, spines just barely a bit faded with the gilt printing bright and clear, good hinges, firm text blocks, clean pages with a neatly written name and 1902 date near the front of each volume and in the upper margin of one page in volume II, no other markings. Hard Cover. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
