Introductory poems by George Seferis and Pablo Neruda. Many of the poets in this collection were missing, feared dead at the time of publication. The book celebrates the emergence of the new nation after years of repression and genocide.Original black cloth gilt. A very clean copy in a slightly soiled wrapper that is worn and chipped along top edge, rubbed along spine with a small close tear to lower right corner of front cover. Black slipcase is in very good condition.
