Although we know that this leaflet came from the Towson State College campus SDS chapter (at this time the Progressive Labor incarnation of SDS), there is nothing specific to the school in the text, which serves as a general introduction to the organization.

From text on cover verso: "The Jensen report, says one high government official, 'has kicked up a lot more private reaction than you'd think. It's not something that anybody does talk about. It's secret knowledge in Washington, something everybody knows and doesn't say. In the bureaucracy, when they see these compensatory programs not working, they just look at each other.".

Besides coverage of the myriad efforts to "Fight Racism" and of the national student strike over the Cambodia invasion, there is an evaluation of SDS in the form of a report on the recent meeting of the National Interim Committee.

Spanning from Friday to Thursday, events including picketing the convention, an SDS beach party, marches (mentioning the SCLC), etc. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. Moderate wrinkling/creasing. Paper clip rust stain on the reverse.

A petition style piece issued by the SDS highlighting a bill written to end racism and genocide in the United States, outlining penalties for police who murder or assault minorities, banning the use of federal troops to suppress demonstrations and rebellions, etc. Presumably put together to coincide with the 1972 Democratic National Convention in Miami. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present along the lower portion. Moderate wrinkling/creasing. Minor scattered staining and toning.
