Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Ellis Carr (illustrator). In a red cloth hardcover with gilt titles to spine and black and gilt titles and a black illustration to front. No dust jacket. Black end papers. 197 pp. with "thirty-one illustrations and nine plans". The book is in good condition with moderate shelf-wear to the cover, sunning of the spine and a mark to the spine where a label has been removed, there is minor marking to the boards. The front hinge is beginning to crack and the binding is slack. There are Burnley Mechanics' Institution labels to the front paste down and part of the ffep. The pages are very slightly tanned but otherwise clean and unmarked.
