Papered boards slightly sunned and bumped at the extremities; edges very slightly marked; a very good copy with the dustwrapper slightly creased, rubbed, nibbled and torn with slight loss. Loosely inserted is a six page stapled carbon letter with annotations (and on pp 29, 30 and 35) by Hardwicke Knight (notable New Zealand author, historian, collector and photographer). In his letter Knight disagrees - at some length - with several of the author's conclusions.
