Out to you w/tracking or insurance. Puerto Ricans in Philadelphia is a study commissioned by the City of Philadelphia and released in 1954. It is part of a larger series of reprints of obscure or hard-to-find texts by Arno/New York Times. This series, titled The Puerto Rican Experience, totals over 30 books and was apparently released in the 1970's. A list of the contents of The Puerto Rican Experience Series appears at the back of this book. Arno is to be commended: they published hundreds of specialized reprints, many of which were destined to be buried, lost, inaccessible, scarce and/or outrageously priced. This book: hardcover with a sewn binding; cloth over boards; released without dustjacket? 135 pp. Illustrated with tables, carts, and an over-sized fold-out map. TABLE OF CONTENTS A New Immigration / Background of This Study / Methodology / Population, Immigration, and Demography / Occupations and Occupational Aspirations / Social Adjustment / The Attitudes of Philadelphians Towards Their Puerto Rican Neighbors / Health Problems Among the School Aged Children of the Puerto Rican Population in Philadelphia / 4 Appendices.
