Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Green cloth-covered boards with gilt decorative stamping and lettering on the front cover and spine. Cloth at the corners and head and foot of the spine is frayed; exposing the boards beneath. Stamping is handsome and bright. Binding is secure. Inscribed by previous owner on front free endpaper, dated 1934. Faint tidemarks on the first few pages, that stop at the beginning of chapter 1. Black-and-white photographic frontispiece of a person on horseback, titled "The birth of the forward seat, Captain Caprilli in 1904. No date on title page. Copyright page dated 1932. 117 pages. Colophon stated that "Eight hundred and fifty copies of Riding Reflections have been printed by Eugene V. Connett at the Derrydale Press". Interiors are clean and unmarked. 46 illustrations by Vincent Fane Handley. Overall, a good and readable copy.
