Total 542 pp., with over 2,250 four-color and black-and-white reproductions. Volume One, Exhibition Catalogue, is 196 pp. with approximately 92 four-color and black-and-white plates (272 total works reproduced), a complete catalogue of the retrospective exhibition. Introduction, word of greeting and preface (in English, French and German) by Suzanne Pagé, Wenzel Jacob and Björn Springfeldt, respectively. Includes a list of exhibited works. Volume Two, Essays, is 112 pp. with numerous black-and-white reference illustrations. Texts (in German), including an interview with Gerhard Richter, by Benjamin H. D. Buchloh, Peter Gidal and Birgit Pelzer. Volume Three, Catalogue Raisonné 1962-1993, is 234 pp. with numerous four-color and black-and-white plates (approximately 2,000 total works reproduced), a complete Raisonné of Richter's work, a list of works and information on the list of works. Includes a biography, exhibition history, selected texts (bibliography) and selected films (all in English, French and German).
