A couple of pages have a light fingerprint or smudge but most of them are spotless, though lightly toned. A few pages have a mildly bent corner tip. Slight soiling to exterior covers. Spine very faded. One small dent in the bottom edge of the front cover. Rub wear to top and bottom edges of the spine, corner tips. The book will be bubble-wrapped and carefully packed in a sturdy box to ensure safe transit.

Facing each illustration is text by Professor Kaplan (Mordecai?) in a decorated "frame". The end papers are silver and green. Pages are uncut and unnumbered. Boards are warped, a few smudges on front, toning at edges and along spine. Small area top of spine is missing (see image), 3/4" crack along spine and another 1/4".
