Softcover. Condition: Very Good. Illustrated by Frontispiece Photo of Raymond (illustrator). First Edition. Softcover book with heavy stock covers. The covers are in very good condition with just a bit of wear and the contents are tight and clean. A nice copy. ; Oblong - 11" high by 6" long; 98 pp pages; Frontispiece portrait of Charles Raymond, an intext photo of him in his Civil War uniform and cover photo of French Creek, at Utica, PA taken in 1984. Preface and introduction written by editor Carolee Michener. Appendices include copies of pages from Raymond's diary, an inventory of goods on hand in his general store in Raymilton, PA and copies of family letters he wrote in the 1850s. The diary covers Raymond's life from November 1854 to September 1855.
