Book
Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Jacket design by George Salter (illustrator). With a black cloth spine over black boards, this volume might grade "fine" but for a few small marks in what would appear to be "non-repro blue" ink to top page edges. Meaning of code "C9" to copyright page not clear. Only date showing is 1957 copyright, but author's previous titles list to "Philosophy: Who Needs It" (1982.) Unclipped jacket price is $22.95. Jacket "good" with several chips to bottom edge. Book itself shows no ISBN, but jacket shows the curious nine-digit number 394-41576-0 to bottom of rear panel -- curious because this becomes the post-1970 ISBN for reprints of "Atlas Shrugged" when we add an additional, preliminary zero, while such a NINE-digit number can only be an SBN, used for a limited time circa 1970. Totals 1,171 pp. Here reduced from $135.
