Greenish stapled wraps with red printing and illustration; 12 pp. The text of two speeches given on July 4, 1917, to guests at a reception given by Walter Page, an American Ambassador to the Court of St. James (Great Britain). Balfour was the British Foreign Secretary. The US flag was flown from the Houses of Parliament, by order of the King, in light of the deep emotion of the American Independence celebration of that year, in the UK, during WWI. Very clean and tight but with ex-lib. stamp on front cover.
