Hard Cover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Kay Samuel (illustrator). Probaly late 1940s. 92pp, ilustrated paper covered boards with picture of two girls with books and a dog, cloth spine. Colour frontispiece and b + w illustrations. A little rubbed to edges, otherwise clean. Stories by Winifred Norling, Leonora Fry, Winifred Bear, Arthur Groom and Bertha Leonard.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Not dated but circa 1940. 156pp, colour plate frontispiece and numerous line drawing illustrations in text. In pictorial boards with linen spine (boards and shelf worn, rubbed at edges, with a couple of small chips, cloth rounded at spine tips, sunned spine, text block edges tanned). Hint of tanning on endpapers and page margins, previous owner's inscription on front paste down, dated 1943. Firmly bound. A selection of illustrated stories for girls in which sports and horses seem to feature frequently.

Contains 156 pp with colour frontispiece, monochrome illustrations throughout. First story is 'Four of a Feather' by Arthur Groom.
