Kullyspell House was built by explorer David Thompson in 1809 and was the first fur trading post and the first building constructed by a white settler in Idaho. Emphasis is on the history of another Idaho pioneer, Sam Owen, and Indigenous tribes such as the Nez Perce and the Flathead tribe.
