Hardcover. Condition: Fair. Hardcover. Brown leather over boards with red, gilt title to spine. Two volumes, each with own separate title pages and pagination in one book. Title page for the first, the Samuel Neale volume, dated 1806. Title page for the second, the Mary Peisley Neale volume, dated 1796. 97 and 118 pages, respectively. Fair condition. Significant rubbing to covers. Water circle stains to front. Spine chipped at foot, exposing text block. Some of leather missing along bottom edge of back cover, exposing boards. Boards also exposed at corners. Evidence of water damage on first few pages. Other pages foxed and toned, but completely readable. A former price (not mine!) written on front free end page. Binding stiff. Not just an interesting subject, but an interesting binding, as well.
