[From introduction] Last year we instituted our "Official Bus Calendar" in response to numerous requests. Our readers had been requesting more full-color photos of buses and more information on future events in the bus industry. Interestingly enough, our "Official Bus Calendar" seemed to fill a need. It not only was well accepted but also well used and we have lost track of the number of subscribers who have asked for the calendar to be continued on an annual basis. Consequently, we are again providing the "Official Bus Calendar" for 1984. Once again, we have tried to list all those dates and events of interest to the bus and bus tour industries. By popular request we have retained the box format on the calendar so that you can write in your notes or appointments. As with last year, the selection of photographs became a very difficult task. We decided to include one coach from each major intercity coach builder plus a converted coach and a historical coach. Searching for and selecting the best and most appropriate photos kept our staff busy on several days. Some of these photographs are our favorites from past issues of our magazines but most have never been printed before. All of the photographs were taken by Bob Redden, master bus photographer and our staff member in charge of photography. On the cover is our Wisconsin Ulinois Stages MC-7 photographed near Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Wisconsin Illinois Stages is the operating affiliate of National Bus rader and Bus Tours Magazine. The company operates three coaches and provides regular route service, charters and tours. This calendar is presented to you by the magazine staff this Holiday Season in appreciation of past support of Nationa Bus rader and Bus Tours Magazine. We hope that you enjoy and use it during 1984.
