Paperback. Condition: Good -. Paperback. Good- This book does not have its original binding. It appears that at some point, the book was disbound, then a previous owner sewed the pages together in a stab binding style. There are no boards and no wrappers. The first page of the book is the title page. The title page is heavily creased and heavily chipped. It has also been lightly written on in pencil by a previous owner. The fore edge of many of the pages is heavily chipped. Chipping does lightly affect the text on the first few pages, though most of the chipping affects the margins alone. Corners are worn and creased. The damaged edges of the pages tend to cling to each other, making some pages a bit difficult to open without further tearing. Most of the pages are very clean, though light damp staining and foxing is present on several pages. Text is still lbright. Lovely illustrations. Included is newspaper article from "The Times Literary Supplement" dated 1919. This would be a good reading copy for someone with a delicate hand. 104 pages plus 4 pages of publishers ads. Literature. LIT311021.
