Weight: 769 Grams. CONTENTS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION!!! However, there are several cracks forming between pages throughout the book. Spine is discoloured, slightly marked, bumped & scuffed either end and alongside covers, cloth faded in aforementioned places, gilt a little dull black decoration slightly worn away in places but fully visible. Cover is faded & marked in places, gilt quite bright, black decoration fully visible but slightly rubbed away in parts, edge wear. Corners are bumped & frayed, boards exposed there. End papers are faded round edges. Dedication page & Contents page are still attached together at top edge, tiny piece missing in top corner of both pages. First & second title pages and first Contents page are heavily foxed. Some pages (very few) have corner folds/creases and/or faint finger smudges in margins, and/or slight vertical rippling folds & small tears alongside spine tail area. Pages 76 & 77 have a couple of faint stains, over but not obscuring text. Page 79 has faint stains in top margin above text. Page 322 and title page of 'Fulham Lawn' have one tiny orange mark. Last free end paper has tiny edge tear. Very light age tanning throughout, more pronounced on end papers and first & last page. VERY RARE ITEM, BEAUTIFUL INSIDE!!! Two of Miss Anne Thackeray's novels: 'Miss Angel', 34 chapters, here are the first ten chapters: -I: A Print of Sir Joshua's. -II: In a Shrine. -III: Gondolas. -IV:Palaces. -V: Gold and Silver Fish. -VI:Angel and her Friends. -VII: The Armenian Convent. -VIII: Arcadia. -IX: The 'Annual Register' for 1766. -X: Penello Volante.
