After their car breaks down during a road trip, a group of teenagers find themselves stranded at an unusual roadside museum populated with eerily lifelike mannequins. Actors Jack Palance and Gig Young were considered for the role of Mr. Slausen, which ultimately went to Chuck Connors. Set and shot on location in the California desert. White titled front wrapper, lacking rear wrapper. Title page present, undated, with credits for screenwriters David Schmoeller and Larry Carroll. 121 leaves, with last page of text numbered 116. Xerographic duplication, rectos only, with pink and blue revision pages throughout, dated variously between 1/26/78 and 3/14/78. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good plus, bound with two gold brads.
