Hardcover. Condition: Good ++. Dust Jacket Condition: No Dustjacket. First Edition - 2nd Print Run. 776 pages. No dustjacket. Clean dark plum-red hardback binding with moderate wear to spine-ends and boards' corners, light creases to rear board, small marks and darkening to page-edges. Endpapers moderately foxed with ink name to flyleaf, page-edges lightly browned o/w pages are very clean.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. 1st Edition. First edition thus, first impression. Jacket sadly quite tatty with edge wear and overall time staining. Front cover separated from spine and held together by new film wrapper but overall complete. Corners rubbed with small loss, contents shaken. Not price clipped ((25/-), no inscriptions, foxing and time staining to endpapers, internally clean and square, overall a reasonable and obviously much used copy. 776pp, illustrated. Full of invaluable hints and tips for the dedicated allotment grower and smallholder, covers everything from vegetable production to bee-keeping and pig management. Quite a scarce book and a large heavy one, extra postage may be required.
