Hb. Condition: VG. Dust Jacket Condition: None. Thirtieth Edition. Five volume set original tan calf leather on boards with green fluidity patterned cloth to four volumes and Vol. IV with tan speckled cloth on boards to front & rear boards.; tooled trim. Spine: gilt titles on red and black labels; five raised ribs with gilt trim; on foot of spine in black title : Supreme Court Library; spines side seams are split, however still well attached. Mild scuffing, faint dusting of a little age soiling and light few only small marks. Wear to fore corners and lightly to some of the extremeties. Edges: top edges with age greying; fore and bottom edge with light age browning and very faint age soiling. Title pages with oval stamp Dunedin Supreme Court Library. All volumes are clean content. Bindings are As New, solid. Vol. I: 1519p. Vol. II: thin scuffed wear to foot of spine. 1470p Vol.III: light scuffed wear to head & foot of spine. 1423p Vol. IV: tan speckled boards with gilt braid trim. Spine: 2 x 1.5 pieces missing to head, surface wear to foot and rubbed wear over part of the title and sections. Rear hinges with splitting and old vertical staining 1218p Vol. V: small soiling to bottom edge. Penciled initial and number to ffep. 1340p 210 x 150 mm A very heavy set.
