Oblong elephant folio, 13" X 16.5". Quarter bound in burgundy leather over beige cloth covered boards. 96 large full-color plates of North Carolina's regional countryside stretch across the large pages. Housed in the original sturdy cloth covered folding traycase with cover and spine stamped in gilt. From a Reserved Limited Edition, this is number 523 of 985 copies. Signed by the artist on special bookplate and additionally inscribed "Best wishes, William Mangum" in black ink on the title page. Artist profile written by Stephen Doherty. Laid in is a cardstock folder containing three of the artists limited edition offset lithographs, each personally inspected and numbered and signed by the artist. Includes 2 CD's in bottom of traycase. William Mangum describes his style as "realistic expressionism." A watercolorist, Mangum's paintings have been widely exhibited by notable museums and art organizations. Bump to edge of traycase, book and prints in fine, as new condition.
