Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. First Edition (NAP, Prentice-Hall=NAP). This book is in very nice condition and its contents are endorsed by Lowell Thomas and Ed Sullivan, so how can you lose, or fall into the water. You can see the blue covers in the photos. They are very clean. The edges are in solid shape. There is one tiny area on each of the top edges and several on the rear bottom edge where the blue is slightly lightened. That is also the case at the four corners, just tiny spots there that are a lighter blue, maybe a slight bit of rubbing, no rub-through. The top page edge is also blue (think water). The bottom page edge has a little bit of tanning. the book is very solidly bound from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout and nicely tight covers as well. The interior of the book is in very good shape. Scrolling through, I saw a few light tan spots just off the bottom edge, also a few consecutive pages have a tiny tan spot just peeking over their outer edge due to a sliver of a tan spot on the middle page edge. I'm not seeing any conspicuous creasing, no turned-down corners or placeholder creases. There are no markings. No attachments. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. There are many, many black-and-white illustrations throughout, and there are 16 full color pages of water skiers in action. All are in excellent condition. You can see the dust jacket in the first few photos. It is clean. I have it in a fitted protective cover. There are two tears and creases off the front bottom edge. There is one off the front top edge just adjacent to the spine. There is some scuffing at the bottom edge of the spine. The flaps are in good condition. There are small clips at all four corners, but the price is unaffected.
