He thanks him for his letter and states that it is good of him 'to offer the help of the Indian Church Aid Association for the receipt of the money. I should think we might be very glad indeed to take advantage of your suggestion.' He is sending Wilson's letter 'to Sir John Thompson, who is really the active partner in the business!' Halifax was Viceroy of India between 1926 and 1931.
