(19,7 x 15,4 inch). Image size: 43 x 32 cm. (16,9 x 12,6 inch).This attractive print was published in Augsburg, Germany, around 1780. This is an optical print, also called 'vue optique' or 'vue d'optique', which were made to be viewed through a Zograscope, or other devices of convex lens and mirrors, all of which produced an optical illusion of depth.Made by 'Balthasar Frederic Leizelt' after 'J. Versteegs'. Frederic Leizelt, active (1750-1800), was a German artist and copperplate engraver working from Augsburg. Condition: Good, given age. Brownish. Folds left and right. Brown spots in the margin. Creases. In upper margin piece of paper been restored. Some wormholes. In right margin holes in paper backed.
