Down the left side are the major periods of Chinese history from 2852 BC to 1912 AD, and across the top are the relevant years, the capital city, characters and events, government and customs, the economic system, religion and philosophy, education and literature, art and other handiwork, and other major world historic events. From the collection of Wayne Prescott Suttles, renowned anthropologist, scholar, and linguist regarding many Pacific cultures, and especially the U.S. Pacific Northwest Coast Salish people. Condition notes: about 20" X 17", folded into 16 panels, on India paper, center crease worn about 1.5 inches. Of historical interest.
