Softcover, a printed white chemise portfolio titled in gilt on the front cover in which are laid 6 large matte-finish photographs of scenes from the film. Also within the large portfolio is a 14-1/4 inch high by 11-3/4 inch wide softcover teal suede pocket folder containing a four-page 9-1/4 inch high by 7-3/4 inch wide program printed on heavy golden stock and a four-page 11 inch high by 8-1/2 inch wide brochure titled "Motion Picture Trade Press Reviews". All of these are housed in a large white envelope titled in gilt on the verso and with a titled gilt seal (still intact though peeled open) at the center of the flap. The envelope itself is soiled with several tears and creases along its edges. The edges of the portfolio sleeve are lightly creased. The 6 matte-finish photographs are printed on 16-1/2 inch high by 13-1/2 inch wide textured cream stock with text printed in black on scalloped gilt labels mounted at the bottom. The images consist of a portrait of Howard Keel as Simon Peter; John Saxon and Susan Kohner as the revenge-seeking lovers; a fishing boat; Martha Hyer and Herbert Lom as Herodias and Herod Antipas; Howard Keel as Simon Peter fighting the raging sea; and Martha Hyer as Herodias. Brief descriptive credits are printed inside the portfolio's cover. Very good. Based on the novel by Lloyd C. Douglas, "'The Big Fisherman' is the story of Simon Peter, a two-fisted Galilean who put down his nets in a momentus act of faith; Fara, half Judean and half Arabian is driven from her homeland on an errand of vengeance; Voldi is the young Arabian prince who takes up her vendetta when she is purged of hate; and Antipas and Herodias are the dissolute rulers of Galilee whose reign is marked by tyranny." [Quoted from the descriptive text of the story printed inside the cover]. RARE.
